Age: 8-13​

Fit For Performance (Speed & Agility)

Give your child the competitive edge they need with Hit Big Cricket’s Fit For Performance – Speed & Agility Program partnered with Game Ready!

All of our programs are conducted by highly qualified trainers and professional athletes.

This specific program covers the fundamentals of sprint mechanics and body control, using isometric and plyometric drills to prepare young athletes for peak performance (which all Cricketers require).

This program is broken down into two categories:
1. Introductory
2. Advanced

1.Fit For Performance
(Introductory Class)

Athletes develop basic footwork and body control skills during fundamental movements such as acceleration, deceleration, jumping and opposition control (opposite hand and foot work together).

When athletes display correct body control and have the ability to focus on simple isometric exercises without losing focus, they will graduate to our advanced class!

2.Fit For Performance
(Advanced Class)

This program focuses on acceleration and top speed mechanics, as well as body weight strength training fundamentals.

Here, the coaches take full advantage of the first “speed zone”, the age at which the body develops neurological muscle memory related to speed.

Running form and proper running mechanics will be emphasized. The goal is to provide physical and mental confidence to play and participate in not only Cricket, but multiple sports and activities.

The Fit For Performance – Speed & Agility Program is essential for the comprehensive development of young athletes, guiding them towards physical literacy and competency in fundamental movements.

As athletes grow more comfortable, they progress to strength and speed training, maintaining optimal conditioning levels.

Coaches are dedicated to teaching and challenging each participant, instilling confidence in their abilities and facilitating their overall growth.

Program 2

Age: 13+

Train Like A PRO (Strength & Power)

All of our programs are conducted by highly qualified trainers and professional athletes.

The focus in this program is on strength training and muscular development as athletic movements are refined. Proper progression through each workout is emphasized to maximize strength development, flexibility and range of motion.

This program is broken down into two categories:
1. Strength
2. Power

Train Like a Pro – "Strength"

This class is designed to be an introduction to weight training, joint loading and injury prevention.

Athletes gain knowledge and insight into strength development to prevent injury and prepare for sport-specific movements. Our elite coaches will focus on the physical and mental preparedness for competition and ensure that athletes are on track to reach their personal goals.

Train Like a Pro – "Power"

This is an elite weight training program, designed for athletes with an understanding of weight training fundamentals.

Participants focus on explosive power and acceleration for speed as athletic movements are refined. Proper progression through a workout is emphasized to maximize strength development, flexibility and range of motion.

The Train Like a Pro program offers expert coaching from accomplished athletes that understand what it takes to strive in sport. Whether you are focusing on building strength or honing power and acceleration, our program offers essential tools and guidance to help young athletes excel in Cricket.
